king's riddle

Birbal had never heard such a riddle. So he was baffled. He could not understand the meaning of that riddle. So while praying he said to the emperor, 'Jahanpanah! If I am given a few days' time, I will be able to understand the meaning very well and tell you.' The emperor accepted his proposal.
Birbal left from there to understand the meaning. He reached a village. One, on a hot summer day, troubled and compelled by the exhaustion of the other way, he entered a house. A girl was cooking food inside the house.
daughter! What are you doing?' He asked. The girl replied, 'You are not seeing. I cook my daughter and burn my mother.'

I had gone to burn a dead body of my community and my wife was cooking lentils in the neighborhood.' Birbal was very happy with the girl's puzzled words. He thought, maybe the mystery of the king's riddle would be revealed here, so asked the girl's father the meaning of the above riddle.

'You guys meet Maharana Pratap, I am sure he will definitely help you in this matter.' Emperor Akbar replied.
On the advice of Emperor Akbar, Tansen and Birbal met Maharana Pratap and presented their side.
After listening to both of them, Maharana Pratap started thinking something, then Tansen started reciting the melodious melody. Maharana started getting drunk.
When Birbal saw that Tansen was doing Maharana in his favor with his ragini, he could not stay away from him.
Immediately said- 'Maharana ji, now I am going to tell you a true thing, when both of us were coming to you, I went to Pushkar ji and prayed that if my side is right then I will donate a hundred cows and Mian Tansen ji He prayed and made a vow that if he was right, he would sacrifice a hundred cows. Maharana ji now the life of hundred cows is in your hands.
Maharana was shocked to hear this from Birbal. How could being a Hindu ruler think of cow slaughter? He immediately justified Birbal's side.
When Emperor Akbar came to know about this, he laughed a lot.

Birbal's sharp vision
★★★ Birbal was a very kind hearted person. He always used to donate and not only this, he used to distribute the reward received from the emperor to most of the poor and the poor, but even then he had no shortage of money. Along with giving charity, Birbal was also careful that the hypocrites should not cheat him by showing his humility.
Similarly, Emperor Akbar, along with the courtiers, made a plan to see if Birbal could identify the true oppressed. The emperor sent one of his soldiers in disguise to Birbal in a humble state that if he brings something from Birbal as financial aid, he will get a reward from Emperor Akbar.
One day, when Birbal was coming from the temple after performing puja, a disguised soldier came in front of Birbal and said, 'Huzur Diwan! Me and I have eight young children, who have been hungry for eight days…. God says that feeding the hungry is an act of great virtue, I hope you will definitely earn merit by donating something to me.
Birbal looked at the man from head to toe and recognized in an instant that he was not what he was pretending to be.
Birbal smiled to himself and without saying anything started on the path through which a river had to be crossed. That person also kept following Birbal. Birbal took off his shoe to cross the river and took it in his hand. The man also tried to take the torn old shoe of his foot in his hand.
After crossing the river Birbal and coming to the gravel road, he would wear shoes only after walking two or four steps. Birbal had also noticed that due to the washing of his feet while crossing the river, the person had started looking more clean, smooth, soft fair skin, so he could not walk on the stony road with soft feet.
'Dewanji! Have you not heard the call of the humble?' said the person coming behind.
Birbal said, 'How can I hear the cry of the one who makes me a sinner?'
'What did you say? Will you become a sinner by helping me?'
'Yes, that is because it is written in the scriptures that even before the birth of the child, God gives milk in the breast of his mother, while arranging his food, also arranges food for him. It is also said that God makes a person hungry but does not make him sleep hungry.
Even after all these things, you are calling yourself hungry for eight days. Looking at all these situations, it should be understood here that God is angry with you and he wants to keep you and your family hungry but I am his servant, if I fill your stomach then God will be angry with me. I cannot go against God, neither Baba nor! I cannot feed you, because all this can be done by a sinner.'
Hearing this answer of Birbal, he left.
He informed the king and the courtiers about this.
The emperor now understood that Birbal had caught his cunning.
The next day the king asked Birbal, 'Birbal is a big talk of your religious deeds, but yesterday you returned a hungry person disappointed, why?'
'Alampanah! I did not return a hungry person, but a hypocrite and I have also come to know that that crook came to fool me at your behest.'
Emperor Akbar said, 'Birbal! How did you know that it is not really hungry, but a creep?'
'Seeing the slippers of his feet and feet. It is true that he had dressed well, but the slippers on his feet were valuable.'
